Since its inception 25 years ago, Meritorious college has been imparting quality education and value-based learning to its students through a stimulating learning environment that promotes competence, intellectual thinking, and moral values.

 

At Meritorious College, we not only educate the students but prepare them for their life ahead. We aim to build future leaders. By providing our students various opportunities, we let them show and create their potential.

We have set up college houses based on the above values that help students to develop courage, strength, decision-making skills, ethics, and above all, their leadership skills.

 

Societies

We came forward with the idea of creating different societies for the students to polish their extracurricular activities. For instance, debating societies and photography/ Videography societies motivate the students to get out of their comfort zone and develop confidence and management skills. Participation in these societies aids in enhancing the communication skills necessary for being a good leader.

Meritorious believes in letting their students grow. By acquiring leading positions in different societies, the students develop leadership skills.

Student Leadership Council

The formation of the Student Leadership Council enables the students to select their leaders among themselves. The council helps in fostering leadership skills. The elected leaders do not only help students to get their issues resolved but also act as a role model for them. 

 

Sports

The College hosts annual Inter-School sports competitions. The students gain a chance of team building during sports and learn the skills of an effective leader. The quick decision sharpened while playing helps them in various other leadership roles.

Moreover, they learn how to deal with failures during the competitions.

 

By using different strategies, Meritorious aims to build future leaders. We focus on polishing the skills of our students and develop them into a better person for tomorrow.
